Project Snapshot: Photography for Mitchell Daysh - Resource Management & Planning Specialists

A few weeks before the COVID-19 lockdown began, SCP was invited to capture profile imagery of the Mitchell Daysh team in Napier. The images needed to mirror the style of photography which has been carried out at the firms other NZ offices, which isn’t always the easiest to pull-off successfully.

On the day of the shoot, the Mitchell Daysh office was blessed with some really nice, soft ambient light flooding through their large office windows which really helped achieve the basic lighting conditions needed. We still however, had to give the overall ambient light levels a bit of a ‘pop’, so this is where our trusty Godox studio lighting strobes came in handy. These were primarily used to fill-in some of the shadows and give an overall boost to the light levels.

Overall, around 60 images were presented to the team for selection. Out of the 60 images, the team selected 15 of these for final edit and supply. Having additional images means that Mitchell Daysh now has collateral to swap out the images on the website as and when needed, and also have them available for other uses, such as reports, social media and elsewhere within the firms online, and offline materials.

L-R: Stephen Daysh, Anita Anderson, Philip McKay & Nicola Macpherson.

Check out Mitchell Daysh’s website to see how SCP’s imagery works alongside their other collateral.
