Event Snapshot: F.A.W.C! ‘24 for Hawke’s Bay Tourism
Launched in 2012, Food and Wine Classic (F.A.W.C.) is Hawke's Bay's premier culinary festival, celebrating the region's rich food and wine heritage.
F.A.W.C. attracts foodies and wine enthusiasts worldwide, offering a blend of tastings, gourmet events, and educational masterclasses. It emphasises local and seasonal produce, innovative dining, and New Zealand wines, making it a highlight on the culinary calendar.
I was commissioned by Hawke’s Bay Tourism to photograph a range of F.A.W.C. events, these included:
Experiencing "Nostrana - My Italian Kitchen" at the Farmhouse Kitchen in Havelock North.
Diving into the world of fine wines (and fine food) with "Great Wine Capitals: Adelaide takeover" at St. Martha's in Havelock North.
Savouring innovative culinary pairings at "Taste Fusion: Collaborative Cuisine" held at the sophisticated Bar Teresa in Napier.
Enjoy the unique wine and food pairing experience of "CFSB x Millar Road" at the scenic Millar Road.

As always, my goal was to capture all aspects of the events I covered — the joy, the togetherness, the places and the love for food (and wine) that brought everyone together in some fantastic locations. Here are some photos that highlight those special moments.
