As we approach the end of 2022, I thought I’d take time out and look back on the past 12 months. For SCP it’s been another great year with some cool commercial projects and events being captured. Big thanks to my clients and to the creatives who I’ve had the pleasure of working with over the last year!

This year I achieved a significant personal, and business goal that I set for myself last year, that being to gain my Professional Commercial Photographer Accreditation with the New Zealand Institute of Professional Photography (NZIPP). I’m stoked to have gained this for a number of reasons, but mainly because it demonstrates to my clients that they are engaging a professional and that my work attains a credible quality technically, and creatively and that this is backed up by solid business practices. Huge thanks to my friends within the photo industry who first planted the NZIPP seed, and also then encouraged me along the way!

Next year I’m looking forward to undertaking some different photography-related challenges and learning, and I’m really looking forward to seeing how that pans out. Watch this space…
